Miller High Life Offers Up Super Bowl Alternative

Posted on by Tim Parry

Grant Johnson mentioned Miller High Life’s
1 Second Ad campaign last week. I’m just reinforcing that I like it… to a degree.

I think I may have recently blasted Miller High Life’s loyalty program recently, but I can’t find the link. But the 1 Second Ad campaign further reinforces Miller’s brand-positioning as the everyman beer (and in my case, my new recession beer… sorry, Pabst Blue Ribbon, I won’t completely abandon you). Windell Middlebrooks, the actor that plays the Miller High Life deliveryman, asks the simple question: “Who got $3 million?”

The site shows all the one-second ads (some a little longer) that the MillerCoors company came up with. The problem is… they’re not viral! If you want to embed the 30-second spot – or a compilation of the one-second spots, you have to go to YouTube. And I’m sure YouTube doesn’t mind the traffic.
