MCM Awards is More Than Winning Silver and Gold (With Video)

Ian MacDonaldCheck out Ian MacDonald, the vice president and general manager of online party supplies merchant
Century Novelty. Sure, he’s all smiles because he won a Silver Award yesterday in the annual
MCM Awards competition.

But Ian is also happy because he understands the value beyond the decorative piece of acrylic that we can’t possible pry from his hands. Ian says Century Novelty has improved its overall game because of the feedback his company gets from the MCM Awards judges. When VPs of Marketing, Web consultants and social media gurus dissect his site and he gets the feedback, it’s a win-win situation.

What he doesn’t say in the following video is how little it cost him for this evaluation that is a part of the MCM Awards competition: Not a dime over the entry fee, which was $295 in 2010 (and free if you live in one of the five states where we can’t collect a contest fee!).
