Online auction company Bid.Com International Inc., based in Toronto, is developing an online auto auction service for GE Capital Auto Financial Services, in an effort to steer its Internet auction trade toward companies and away from consumers, according to Reuters.
Terms were not disclosed. But Bid.Com did say it would receive fees to set up the operation and for monthly hosting services. Bid.Com will not receive any transaction fees under the deal.
