Experian has continued its buying spree, adding Baker Hill, a relationship management, credit origination and risk-management solutions firm to its holdings. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Baker Hill strengthens Experian’s reach into the small-business market. Baker Hill’s client base is made up primarily of banking, credit union and financial service firms, to which it provides relationship management capabilities.
Baker Hill will operate as a business unit within Experian’s Business Information Solutions division and will be known as Baker Hill, an Experian company. The company will continue operations in Carmel, Ind., and current management and employees will stay with the firm.
The acquisition is the latest for Experian, which within the past year has added Simmons Market Research; the London-based Future Foundation Group, a strategic consultancy; and Vente Inc., an online consumer research and permission-based targeting firm to its portfolio.
