AMC Rolls out Personalized Gift Cards
AMC Entertainment is out with a new gift card offering that lets people personalize the cards with photos, images or messages.
People can choose from two different card designs, one with an AMC logo or another that makes the image or content appears on an AMC theater screen. The cards are available at http://amctheatres.com/entertainmentcard and are redeemable for movie tickets and concessions.
Each can be loaded with amounts ranging from $5 to $100 and carry a personalization cost of $4.50. The customized cards are the company’s latest in gift card offerings. AMC Entertainment has offered gift cards since 2202.
In other news, Internet movie ticketing service MovieTickets.com has rolled out a reloadable, stored-value MovieTickets.card. The personalized gift cards are available in amounts ranging from $25 to $500, and can be reloaded with additional funds. The cards are available at http://www.movietickets.com/moviecard.
Recipients can buy movie tickets online at MovieTickets.com and then swipe their card at the box office or at onsite automated kiosks to pick them up.
