Coors Light is delivering playlists—developed by neighborhood preferences—to New York City.
Say you want to hear what’s popular in Union Square, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen or your own neighborhood. Keep an eye out for one of the LinkNYC kiosks with Coors Light branding. You can simply walk up to it, open your Shazam app, tap the listen button—and you’ll be able to stream that neighborhood’s mix.
In Union Square, the playlist includes Throwback (Chris Brown), Single Ladies (Beyoncé) and London Bridge (Aeroplane) to name a few. The picks are pulled solely from Shazam user data and updated every 15 minutes so as people wander neighborhoods they can return to find fresh playlists to download.
The kiosks are being tested and branded by Coors Light with messaging that reads: “Hear the Street’s Playlist.” Get more details here.
