Zynga’s Ship Is Sinking With Rumors of Layoffs as It Struggles With Mobile

ZyngaZynga’s stock price has been a well-documented sinking ship, but its employees’ morale appears to be following suit. The game-making company is apparently rife with rumors of future layoffs and potential sales of its groups. One point of strife for Zynga has been the realm of mobile, as games for the smaller screen haven’t translated into dollars as well as “Ville” games have on desktops. With Facebook not as generous a source of virality these days, Zynga is struggling to find a new cash cow for a new generation of gamers. (Business Insider, WSJ.com)
