Circuit City Stores Inc. has launched the next generation of its Web site, www.circuitcity.com. The site was first launched in 1999. This is the site’s first complete makeover. Several sweepstakes are being conducted to promote the relaunch, including a giveaway of five flat screen TVs.
Christian.com Media Group Inc., Dallas, has launched Christian.com, a new site it hopes will become the “preferred homepage” for Christians. The site provides Bible and Christian content, as well as shopping, search, news, weather and e-mail services. “Our site combines a Christian’s spiritual needs with their daily life,” said Lee Raney, president of Christian.com, in a statement. Sections devoted to singles and children are also featured on the site, which is part of the Christian Web Network.
