Dutch publisher VNU will pay $24 million to increase its stake in Romania’s leading phone book publisher Pagini Aurii to 85% from 28%, according to wire service reports.
The Bucharest-based firm puts out 41 directories, has an annual circulation of more than 2 million copies and distributes information via the Internet and CD-ROM.
