Home shopping network ValueVision International Inc., Minneapolis, has plans to partner with FairMarket Inc., a provider of auction technology and services to provide online auction services.
The auctions are scheduled to begin next month at ValueVision’s Web site http://www.vvtv.com.
In other news, ValueVision plans to rebrand its home shopping network and companion Internet Web site as SnapTV and SnapTV.com respectively, as part of a direct e-commerce strategy it is pursuing with NBC Internet.
