USPS Merges Shipping Units, Taps Reblin As New VP

The U.S. Postal Service has consolidated its expedited-shipping and ground-shipping units into its new shipping services group and named Gary Reblin to lead this unit as vice president, shipping services.

In addition, the USPS has named Jim Cochrane vice president, product visibility and operational performance.

Reblin moves up from vice president of expedited shipping, a post he has held since 2008. Before that, he was manager of intelligent mail planning and standards.

Cochrane previously was manager of package services. A 36-year postal veteran, Cochrane also served as associate vice president of marketing and strategy for the USPS
