Urban Outfitters Inc. reported net income of $35.6 million for the fourth quarter, up 31% from $27 million last year.
The cataloger and retailer reported net sales of $318.6 million for the quarter ended Jan. 31, up 27% over $251.6 million last year.
The Philadelphia company attributed these results to a 28% increase in direct marketing sales, a 110% jump in wholesale sales and an 8% rise in comparable store sales.
