US Farm Data, Inc. has acquired New Century Marketing Services Inc. (NCMS), a compiler of farmer and rancher data.
NCMS’s files include information on 2.5 million farmers and ranchers.
“We are excited about this acquisition. It strengthens our presence in the Agricultural Market, as well as gives us a true leadership position,” said Bill Mattern, CEO of US Farm Data, in a statement. “Farmers and Ranchers represent a huge potential for companies interested in direct marketing.”
US Farm Data, Inc. is a subsidiary of M&C Information Systems of Omaha, NE. In addition to its new acquisition, US Farm Data offers an additional database of over 640,000 businesses that service the agricultural industry.
