U.K. Firm Sent Flyers to Deceased

A British will-writing service has been criticized after sending direct mail to two people who had recently died, according to wire service reports.

In both cases the company claimed it was responding to requests for more information.

But relatives of the dead people denied this and complained to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

A spokesman for WDS Associates, of Kingswood, near Bristol, said the company only sent material to people they had telephoned and who agreed to receive more details.
