Turner Network Television and Dodge have signed into a marketing partnership for the network’s upcoming original series, The Grid.
The partnership includes promotional category exclusivity for the Dodge Magnum automobile, on-air billboards, promotional tune-in spots, on-air advertising, customized vignettes featuring TNT analyst Craig Sager driving the vehicle during NBA playoff telecasts, a consumer sweepstakes and online integration, as well as off-channel print advertising and billboards.
The deal does not include product placement in the show.
The six-hour series stars Julianna Margulies and Dylan McDermott and explores both sides of the war on terror.
As part of the agreement, Dodge’s partnership will include a cross promotion with TNT’s coverage of the 2004 NBA Playoffs.
