TicketsNow.com has hired Kenneth Dotson as chief marketing officer. The company made the appointment official on Tuesday, thought Dotson assumed the role on Feb. 1.
“Kenneth’s dynamic leadership abilities, innovative marketing programs and results-oriented management style are already paying great dividends for us,” said Mike Domek, founder and CEO of TicketsNow.com, in a statement. “We are experiencing unprecedented growth with year-to-date sales up more than 200% over 2004. Our best days are clearly yet to come.”
With more than 20 years of marketing experience, including a dozen in senior management, Dotson is charged with leading TicketsNow’s strategic business initiatives in the areas of direct and brand marketing across all media, corporate communications, business development, corporate sales and product development.
Dotson was the founding VP-marketing for SportsLine.com, the publisher of CBS SportsLine and a network of other sports-related Web sites and media properties. Prior to joining TicketsNow.com, Dotson had been a private investor and consultant to various companies.
