Here are three such myths, busted: 1) There’s no such thing as a free online lead-gen channel: This isn’t true, though some of these free channels won’t give you an ROI desired for the amount of work you put in. But if you see meager returns, check to see if it’s something other than the particular channel you’re using. 2) You can’t have business relationships online: This might be true for marketers who don’t know how to engage with prospects online. When connecting with prospects via social networks, be relevant and don’t make it purely about sales. 3) You can’t generate high-quality leads online: Blogging and newsletters are examples of ways to build up a quality list of prospects.
