Health, beauty and housewares direct marketer Thane International Inc. posted revenues of $32.9 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2004, an 11.8% decrease compared to revenues of $37.4 million for the same quarter last year.
The La Quanta, Ca-based company reported income of $5 million for the quarter ended June 30, compared to $2.3 million reported for the quarter ended June 30, 2002. Income for the quarter included a $5.2 million gain on extinguishment of debt related to the company’s subsidiary Krane Products Inc.
