Sun Capital Partners Inc. has acquired Hickory Farms, Inc., a direct marketer of gourmet food, for an undisclosed sum.
“This transaction represents a tremendous opportunity for Hickory Farms to partner with a financial sponsor with deep operating experience in retail, grocery, and food sectors and one that shares our vision for accelerated growth,” said John J. Langdon, president/CEO of Hickory, in a statement.
