The Spiegel Group, Downers Grove, IL, has named Geralynn Madonna president and CEO of Spiegel Catalog and Newport News. She takes on responsibilities previously held by Melissa Payner, the former president and CEO of Spiegel Catalog, and George Ittner, former chairman and CEO of Newport News.
Payner and Ittner resigned from the company to pursue other interests, according to a statement from Spiegel. Ittner has agreed to provide consulting services to the company.
Madonna has been with Spiegel for more than 21 years, most recently as president and chief operating officer of Newport News.
“Spiegel and Newport News are very powerful direct mail brands and I am looking forward to the opportunity to further strengthen and differentiate both brands,” Madonna said in a statement.
