Southwest Airlines, Chase Reward Loyalty via Kravitz Tour

Southwest Airlines and Chase Card Services recently recognized members of its rewards program for their loyalty with some extra perks tied a Lenny Kravitz concert tour.

The two companies sponsored Kravitz’s “Love Revolution Tour” offering Rapid Rewards Visa Signature cardmembers a chance to win special giveaways and experiences, including free flights, access to member-only lounges at venues and the chance to meet Kravitz in person.

“Southwest and Chase were trying to create unique experiences for their cardmembers,” said Chase spokeswoman Megan Stinson.

Southwest and Chase offered cardholders a select number of tickets to the Denver, Philadelphia and San Francisco concerts. Cardholders, and concertgoers who applied for the card on-site, gained access to a special lounge area at those concert locations. And while they were there, Southwest offered an “in-lounge” sweepstakes for roundtrip tickets anywhere Southwest flies.

Ten Rapid Rewards cardholders in each of the markets also entered to win unique experiences—such as a chance to meet Kravitz and signed memorabilia signed—or concert tickets.

The concert tour hit nine U.S. cities and ran through Feb. 1.
