Something’s Missing From Sharp’s TV Ad

The public must be punch-drunk from being hit with so many choices in the latest electronic products. My Sunday newspaper always spills out several freestanding inserts from electronics retailers advertising a cascade of computers, PDAs, TVs, VCRs and digital audio whatevers. So for advertising that will enable a new product in this field to stand out from the crowd and build sales demand, the manufacturer needs to plan carefully.

From my point of view, this ad by Sharp for its new line of Aquos Theater televisions really doesn’t do the job.
