Snyder Healthcare Services (Ventiv Health), a division of Snyder Communications Inc., promoted Dr. Robert Brown to chairman and chief executive officer of the health products research division. Replacing Brown as president and chief operating officer will be Leonard Vicciardo. He had been president and chief operating officer at Scott-Levin, Division of PMSI Inc.
In an unrelated development, Snyder declared August 31, 1999 as the record date for determining the shareholders entitles to vote on the recapitalization proposal recommended by its board of directors. The actual time and place of the vote itself will be announced later.
