OpenOrders Inc., Newton, MA, which makes software for order management and fulfillment, has received its first institutional round of venture capital financing, totaling $1.5 million, from Chicago Venture Partners. OpenOrder’s products are OpenFulfill and OpenCatalog.

Direct Focus Inc., Vancouver, WA, said yesterday it intends to file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to sell shares of its common stock in a public offering. The company is a direct marketer of fitness and health-related products under the Bowflex name. Its stock has been traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange since 1993.

Intimate Brands Inc., Columbus, OH, which owns the Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works brands, declared a regular quarterly dividend of $.14 per share. The Limited Inc., also based in Columbus, which owns about 85% of Intimate Brands, increased its quarterly dividend by 15% to $.15 per share. Both are payable on March 16, 1999 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 5, 1999.
