The new platform supports performing marketing analysis on large customer databases, and is geared toward customer resource management analytics.

The Sportsman’s Guide, South St. Paul, MN, has adopted a shareholder rights plan, which is designed to encourage potential acquirers of the company to negotiate directly with the company’s board. The plan incorporates a dividend distribution of one common stock purchase right per share of common stock held, and is seen as a countermeasure against a hostile takeover.
