Lands’ End has promoted Bill Bass from vice president of e-commerce to senior vice president, e-commerce and international. Kelly Ritchie has been named senior vice president, employee services. She formerly served the cataloger as vice president, employee services. Both Bass and Ritchie will serve on the company’s management operating committee.
Internet advertising company, DoubleClick Inc., New York, has named Sam Pagan to director of U.S. Hispanic sales for DoubleClick Las Americas. He will be responsible for developing the company’s sales efforts for U.S. Hispanic and Latin American sites.
Seth Godin of Yahoo! and author of Permission Marketing will be the keynote speaker for the Direct Marketing Association’s 10th Annual Non-Profit Conference, which begins Jan. 31 in Washington, DC. Godin will speak Feb. 1 at the opening general session.
America Online has licensed Marketswitch Workstation, a predictive modeling customer optimization system from Dulles, VA-based MarketSwitch Corp. Once the system is implemented, AOL will use it to bring targeted offerings to its customer base.
