Brands Shopping Network Inc. has named Pat DeMicco as CEO. DeMicco co-founded the shopping network in February 2001. He was elected chairman of the board in January 2002. Most recently, he has worked as an independent consultant since November 2000.
Women’s apparel retailer Talbots Inc. plans to open 85 new stores. The Hingam, Massachusetts-based company has grown from a base of 240 stores at the end of 1991 to 800 stores at the end of 2001.
