Alcott Routon, a Nashville-based direct marketing agency has named Jim Marouse Midwest director of business development. He will be responsible for developing new acquisition, activation, cross-sell, retention and CRM programs for the firm’s clients.

ADVO Inc. plans to grow its Rural Expansion targeted shared mail advertising program by 25% to 5 million households by next month. The monthly program reaches areas that had only been available through the firm’s solo mail program. Rural Expansion began 18 months ago with 3 million households.
