Observers have lauded the Senate’s passage of a four-year reinstatement of the moratorium on taxing Internet connections but once again called for a permanent ban on such levies.
The Senate voted 93-3 to restore a ban on taxing Internet connections but stopped short of the permanent measure that was approved by the House.
