Sears, Roebuck and Co., Hoffman Estates, IL, will allow consumers to apply for instant credit online over its Web site, www.sears.com, starting Nov. 29.
Accepted applicants can then use the credit line immediately in the new Tool Territory site, part of Sears’ online store. Only after the customer can received the card in the mail, can it be used at all Sears locations.
