Sears and Panasonic have joined forces for a mobile tour that showcases high-definition home entertainment and gaming systems at stops at professional and college football stadiums.
The tour, sponsored by Sears, kicked off Sept. 10 in Pittsburg, PA, and will span eight weeks, ending Nov. 1, in Dallas, TX. A 24-foot trailer houses five Panasonic gaming stations where 10 people at a time can sit and play the latest football games on 32-inch Panasonic Viera HDTV screens for a chance to win prizes. Another 60-inch screen will air football content and details and promotions about the TVs.
A second 16-foot trailer has been transformed into a place for people to watch pre-game shows on four large TVs or take a stage to sing karaoke for a chance to win Panasonic prizes.
A dedicated microsite offers all the details.
Sears is giving visitors discount cards they can use toward the purchase of home electronics.
