Once again, Harry Potter mania is underway. And the publisher of the best-selling series, Scholastic, is out with a sweepstakes that will send the winners to the launch event in London.
Seven winners will join author J.K. Rowling in London at midnight July 21 for the festivities debuting the seventh and final book in the series: “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” The book will be officially released at 12:01 am.
The sweeps is open to people under 21 years of age and includes roundtrip airfare on American Airlines for two to London and three nights hotel stay.
The winners will attend “J.K. Rowling and the Moonlight Signing” at London’s Natural History Museum and will join 1,700 fans who will have the opportunity to meet the author and have their book signed. They will also be among 500 people who will be selected to attend a midnight reading with Rowling.
The sweeps winners get a copy of the U.S. edition of the book. People can enter at Scholastic.com/HarryPotter by June 15.
Scholastic is printing an unprecedented 12 million copies of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”
