Rx.com Inc., an Austin, TX-based Internet pharmacy, has acquired Prescription Care, Inc. (PCI), a privately held mail order pharmacy which provides prescription fulfillment services. Terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition of PCI underscores Rx.com’s ability to provide high-volume pharmacy fulfillment services for the healthcare organizations that provide prescription drug benefits to an estimated 175 million Americans.
