Revenue, Sales up for infoUSA

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

InfoUSA reported $4.7 million in net income, and $78.8 million in sales, during the second quarter of 2003. Both figures were increases from second quarter 2002, when the Omaha, NE-based data firm generated $74 million in sales and $4.2 million in income. The quarter ended June 30.

The increases came from both infoUSA’s Large Customer and Small Business groups. The Large Customer Group, which includes Donnelley Marketing, Walter Karl and database licenses, realized $38.7 million during the second quarter, up from $37.1 million a year ago.

The Small Business Group generated $40.1 million, a jump from the $36.9 million it recorded in second quarter 2002. InfoUSA attributed the gain in part to double-digit revenue growth in its Internet division.
