RedPeg Taps Arnold’s Jones

Charlie Jones

RedPeg Marketing has hired ad agency veteran Charlie Jones as chief marketing officer and director of account management, a new post for the experiential marketing agency.

Jones had been CMO and director of account management at Arnold Worldwide, Boston, and earlier was president of Earle Palmer Brown and General Manager of its EPB Interactive division.

“Even with decades of integrated marketing behind us, the advertising business is still a variation on a theme established long before most people in the industry were born,” Jones said in a statement. “The move towards strategic and well-targeted experiential marketing solutions is a frontier with enormous possibilities. That excites me.”

Jones oversees new business, account service and operations with the mandate to build new-business, marketing, account-service and operations teams. He joined Alexandria, VA-based RedPeg in mid-July and reports to President Brad Nierenberg.

RedPeg ranked No. 23 in the 2005 PROMO 100 with 2003 net revenues of $7.7 million, up 151% from 2001.
