RedEnvelope Inc. has named Frank Buettner chief operating officer. He comes from Bag Borrow or Steal, an early stage Internet company where he was vice president of operations. Before that, he was the chief information officer/chief operating officer at Nordstrom Direct. Previously, he spent 20 years at Lands’ End, most recently as vice president of the international division.
