Rapp Collins Centralizes Operations

Rapp Collins Worldwide has centralized its North America operations, promoting four executives to division president or chief-officer roles.

The Omnicom Group direct-marketing shop named its first chief planning officer and chief creative officer to serve all nine offices in the U.S. and Canada.

“This ‘one-agency’ approach makes us more robust, deeper, wider and better than any other agency on the competitive landscape,” said CEO Gary VonKennel in a statement.

Two Dallas veterans take chief-officer roles serving all Rapp Collins offices. Cathy Clift, 47, becomes chief planning officer; she had been executive VP-planning at Rapp Collins Dallas. Martin Macdonald, 45, becomes chief creative officer; he had been executive VP-chief creative officer at Rapp Collins Dallas.

Robert Horvath, 43, becomes president-direct marketing, a new post, overseeing all agency operations. He had been Rapp Collins’ CFO.

Edward McNally Jr., 48, becomes president-diversified services, a new post, overseeing integration of current and upcoming services and supervising Rapp Collins’ new corporate marketing and communications unit. He had been Rapp Collins’ president-COO.

Caroline Chilvers, 29, becomes executive VP of the corporate marketing and communications department, which will centralize all business development as well as internal and external communications. She had been senior VP in the New York office.
