Pokémon Stars In Subway Kids Meals

Subway is recapturing a favorite among youngsters, offering four new Pokémon action toy premiums as part of its Kids Pak meals.

The latest Subway offerings include the Crazy Pok Ball, the Deoxy Whirl, the Pokémon Lacrosse Stick and the Rayquaza Disc. A $3 coupon will be included with each Pokémon premium redeemable off Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys on DVD or video.

Children 18 months and older will receive a three-piece Mega Bloks Mega Farm premium inside Subway Kids Pak Meals. The premiums will be part of Subway’s Kids Meals through May 8, while supplies last.

Participating Subway restaurants have launched the toy premiums as part of the restaurant’s F.R.E.S.H. Steps program, which encourages children to eat healthy and stay active.

Pokémon was first launched in Japan in 1996 for play on Nintendo’s Game Boy system. The brand debuted in the U.S. in 1998 and has since evolved into a trading card game films and an animated series on Kids’ WB!
