Playboy Enterprises Inc. reported a net loss of $3.3 million for the second quarter compared with net income of $4.6 million last year.
The publisher and direct marketer reported net revenue of $80.5 million for the quarter ended June 30, down from $82.8 million last year.
The Chicago-based company reported revenue from online subscriptions and e-commerce of $11.4 million for the quarter, up from $10.8 million last year.
Management attributed these results to restructuring charges as well as to higher paper and postage costs.
