Business computing services direct marketer PC Connection Inc., Merrimack, NH, will acquire Merisel Inc.’s Marlborough, MA-based call center in an effort to expand its corporate outbound telesales group.
Terms of the agreement were not available.
PC Connection plans to offer employment to more than 100 of Merisel’s telesales account managers and support staff inviting them to join PC’s corporate outbound sales organization.
The acquisition supports PC Connection’s initiative to add infrastructure for continued growth. In addition, the agreement is expected to generate annual saving for Merisel of approximately $2 million before transition costs.
The 42,000 square-foot facility is configured for about 250 workstations. Merisel is a distributor of technology products.
