Outlook Group Reports Net Losses

Outlook Group Corp. reported a net loss of $835,000 for its fourth quarter, off from earnings of $511,000 last year.

The direct marketing services company posted net sales of $14.1 million for the quarter ended May 31, down from $15.7 million last year.

For the year ended May 31, the Neenah, WI firm reported a net loss of $567,000, compared with a profit of $663,000 last year.

Net sales for the year were $61.1 million, a drop from $67.2 million last year.

CEO Joseph J. Baksha, attributed the lower fourth quarter results to start-up expenses for three new long-term contracts and significantly lower sales to three other major customers.
