Omnicom Group has bought a majority stake in digital-marketing shop EVB, San Francisco.
The purchase comes on the heels of new-business wins from Adidas and Kellogg Co., and two Gold Lions at the International Advertising Festival at Cannes. EVB expands New York-based Omnicom’s network of interactive agencies.
“We consider EVB a pioneer in online advertising, creating some of the most engaging brand experiences on the Web today,” said Omnicom President-CEO John Wren, in a statement.
The six-year-old shop keeps its name and current management under its co-founders, CEO Daniel Stein and Executive Creative Director Jason Zada.
