Norty Cohen, COO and partner of The Zipatoni Co., plans to resign from the agency in August after 16 years to start a consulting business.
He had been the sixth person hired with Zipatoni after the firm was founded in 1986. He left briefly in 1988 to work for what is now Momentum Marketing in Alexandria, VA.
“I’m just ready to do something new,” Cohen said.
Zipatoni President Jim Holbrook characterized the departure as having been in the planning stages for a while and “amicable.”
Holbrook said St. Louis-based Zipatoni will be one of Cohen’s first clients.
