This was the first time all my direct holiday purchases were made online, or at least had some online component. As I noted in January, comfort and familiarity played a big factor in deciding who got my dollars. It was not a season when I wanted to live on the edge, wondering if a company would live up to its promises and deliver the goods on time and in good condition. It was a season where I didn’t want yet one more thing to worry about; I wanted to shop from companies I knew from past experience would come through for me and my gift list.
