THE OREO DOUBLE STUF RACING LEAGUE: is about to hold its first competition to take place on a custom-made DSRL/AstroTurf field. The lick-racing event will be held in West Palm Beach, FL, on April 24, where two teams of finalists will compete for the title of fastest Oreo “twister, licker and dunker” and a $10,000 grand prize.

COTY: has launched a new Web site to introduce its new fragrance, Vera Wang Rock Princess. When visitors first click on the site an animated rock video with a 1980s beat begins to play. A music portal allows users to create their own custom music mix. Visitors can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a Vera Wang Rock Princess T-shirt or free bottle of Vera Wang Rock Princess fragrance. Users navigate the site with an animated, transparent guitar that opens each new page. Flash elements draw attention to fragrance features such as the “rockin’ ring”—a bejeweled ring that sits atop the fragrance bottle, but is removable and meant to be worn by the buyer.

VEET: has launched the “Spray on Your Summer Smooth” campaign, to boost sales of its new spray on hair removal cream. People can go online and submit photos of their legs and explain why they are their best assets. The grand-prize winner will receive a trip for two to Barbados and a year’s supply of Veet products. Social media marketing firm Brickfish is powering the promotion, which ends July 29.
