JOHN HEGEMAN: resigned last week from his post as president of worldwide marketing at Lions Gate Films, according to news reports. Hegeman, who started the position in August 2004, will leave his post before the end of the year. Lions Gate Films would not comment on Hegeman’s reasons for leaving, news reports said.
UPSHOT: Chicago, promoted Kristopher Boron to VP-account services from senior account director. Boron has been with Upshot for eight years and leads much of the agency’s work for Miller Brewing Co.
