SIMON PROPERTY GROUP: Indianapolis, reprises its DTour Live concert tour in 23 malls nationally with brand sponsors Acuvue, Fanta, Scream Tour, and So? fragrance, which host booths and activities near the concert stage. Performers are Cherish, Cheyenne Kimball, Matt White, Mya, Natalie, Paula Deanda, The Jonas Brothers, and The Summer Obsession. This is the fourth year that Simon has done the tour; past sponsors included Coca-Cola and Disney (PROMO Xtra, Aug. 10, 2005). The tour runs through Oct. 14.

TBS: is launching a new series of two-and-a-half minute episodes based the award-wining Canadian show Lovebites. Under the deal, TBS will air 65 of 82 Lovebites episodes over 13 weeks starting Sept. 13. The micro-series will air after Sex and the City and on other network programming on TBS. Unilever’s Sunsilk, a hair care line for women, is sponsoring the micro-series. The remaining 17 episodes will be distributed by JWTwo Entertainment, one of three producers, on non-traditional platforms, including Unilever’s Sunsilk Web site and in select retail environments. Viewers can chat with the stars on blogs, see new episodes and tour one of the character’s apartments at Gethairapy.com. Lovebites follows a young p.r. executive as she wends her way through relationships and life hassles.

HALLMARK CHANNEL: is rolling out a sweepstakes in 25 markets tied to its upcoming holiday premiere of March of the Penguins dangling an all-expense paid trip for four to San Diego in each market. Starting Nov. 12, consumers can enter at retail and/or participating cable operator’s Web sites. The grand prize includes airfare and accommodations to San Diego, $500 in spending money, rental car, passes to area parks and an exclusive penguins experience at SeaWorld. The sweepstakes ends Nov. 25, the night March of the Penguins premieres at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. TV spots, online materials and in-store displays will support.
