SIEGEL + GALE: a branding firm that is part of Omnicom Group, has named Douglas B. Stone as group director of interactive media, a new post. He will oversee the company’s interactive practice on the East Coast. Most recently, Stone was CEO of Abstract Edge, an online marketing and multidisciplinary design firm with a roster of clients that included P&G, Marriott, Loews Hotels, Atkins Nutritionals and Vera Wang.

BRANDOODLES: is a new board game that challenges players’ knowledge of more than a thousand popular brands in such categories as food and beverage, health and beauty, and household products. Like Wheel of Fortune or Hangman, the idea is to guess a brand name by choosing letters to fill blanks. Belcom Corp., developer of the game, is distributing it online at Brandoodles.com. To spur sales, each boxed game contains a Lucky Number Card with a chance to win a $150 shopping spree in any store in America. The winning numbers are posted each week online on the Brandoodles Web site.

NIKE, INC.: and Futbol Club Barcelona have entered into a new five-year agreement worth approximately $189 million, plus bonuses and royalties, which extends their relationship through 2013. The agreement also includes a possible five-year renewal, which would further extend the relationship through 2018. More specific terms were not disclosed. Nike sells Barcelona jerseys in approximately 50 countries. A long-time favorite in Europe, the club is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. In a separate development, Nike named last week its footwear executive Leslie Lane as the new head of Nike’s global running business.
