WARNER BROS. CONSUMER PRODUCTS: and Firefly have teamed up to launch a line of mobile phones for kids featuring characters including Tweety and DC Comics’ Superman and Supergirl. The phones feature five key, including “mom” and “dad” speed dialing buttons, a phone book key to store numbers and an emergency 911 key. It also features a call-screening mechanism that rejects all numbers that aren’t stored in the phone book. The phones will be available at retail stores in mid November and sell for under $80.
