MATTEL: has teamed up with Mighty Fine, an apparel manufacturer, to produce a new apparel line for juniors and adults and a separate line for infants and adults under the Fisher-Price brand. The company will produce a collection of Barbie T-shirts, knit tops and fleece featuring classic images with an updated twist. The clothing line will be available this fall in boutiques, specialty stores and department stores nationwide. In addition, Fisher-Price images will be produced on T-shirts for adults and toddlers, as well as onesies under the Mighty Fine & Mini Fine brands.

GO1TV: is running an online sweepstakes at Goltv.tv where soccer fans can win two tickets to the Aug. 10 match between Stuttgart and FC Schalke 04. The prize includes free airfare, a three-night stay at le Meridien in Stuttgart and $1,000 Euros in spending cash.

VERIZON WIRELESS and the BALTIMORE ORIOLES: scored a hit at Camden Yards with a cell phone recycling event to support local victims of domestic violence. Verizon promised to donate $5 to the House of Ruth Maryland, a violence help center, for each wireless phone fans brought to the Baltimore ballpark on May 6. The recycling drive pulled in 1,000 phones and $10,000 ­after the Orioles matched Verizon Wireless’ $5,000 donation.
